According to the CNBC CFO Council quarterly survey, the majority of chief financial officers (CFOs) still consider Bitcoin to be a highly speculative investment rather than a store of value. Only a small percentage view it as a store of value. However, the survey shows progress compared to 2017, as fewer CFOs now consider Bitcoin to be a fraud. The survey also highlights that very few CFOs have no view on Bitcoin, indicating its increasing mainstream acceptance. Despite this, corporate adoption of Bitcoin is still in the early stages, with few non-crypto companies having exposure to the cryptocurrency.
