The Human Rights Foundation (HRF) has announced its latest round of grants from the Bitcoin Development Fund. A total of 7 BTC (approximately $706,000) is being distributed across 20 projects worldwide. These grants aim to support technical education in authoritarian regimes, independent media outlets, decentralize mining, and provide private financial solutions to human rights groups. The focus of these grants is on countries and regions in Latin America, Asia, and Africa. The specific projects receiving funding include Stratum V2 Reference Implementation, Public Pool, Naiyoma, Daniela Brozzoni, UX/UI Design for Bitcoin Core, No BS Bitcoin, Tando, YakiHonne, SeedSigner Multi-language Support, Vexl, Tomatech, Krux, Iris, African UX Bitcoin Bootcamp, Bitcoin History, Cashu-ts, Unify, The Financial Freedom Policy Coalition, Jon Atack, and Brink. The HRF is a nonpartisan organization dedicated to promoting and protecting human rights globally.
