The CFTC, under the leadership of Acting Chair Caroline Pham, has announced the launch of a CEO Forum to discuss digital asset markets and stablecoins. The forum, which Pham proposed in 2023, will serve as a "regulatory sandbox" for crypto industry representatives to propose and discuss new regulations. Representatives from Circle, Coinbase, Crypto.com, MoonPay, and Ripple have been invited to attend the forum. The CFTC's initiative reflects the new administration's commitment to engage with industry leaders to establish clear regulations and policies, with a focus on stablecoin regulations.
