Vitalik Buterin's plan to address concerns about the transparency of the Ethereum Foundation appears to be working, as there has been a significant fund inflow of 50,000 ETH ($132 million) to the foundation's multisig wallet. Buterin stated that these funds will be used for participation in the DeFi sector. Some of the measures suggested by Buterin include replacing the executive director and depositing or distributing some of the foundation's $1 billion ETH holdings onto the chain. The foundation has faced criticism for putting "selling pressure" on ETH by swapping its holdings for stablecoins.
