Hailey Welch, known as 'Hawk Tuah' girl, spoke about her experience with the meme coin crash on her podcast. She claimed she was misled about the long-term viability and positive impact of the token. Welch agreed to launch the token when she thought half of the profits would go to her charity but later discovered that the token deployer held about 80% of the token's supply. Welch is now suing the meme coin makers for deception. The Hawk Tuah token initially gained significant market cap but quickly plummeted by over 91%. FaZe Banks, CEO of FaZe Clan, had a stipulated interview with Welch and believes the leak of the episode had a hidden agenda to manipulate the token's price. The Hawk token's price spiked and then dipped.
