The Cardano network has been reporting impressive growth in the on-chain activity for the month of March with total transactions reaching 64 million, wallets - 4.02 million, and total native tokens of 8.07 million. Also, the Plutus scripts, which are specific to Cardano, also increased by 1.67%. Its growing decentralised finance (DeFi) ecosystem is bolstering the overall confidence and value locked in the blockchain. Last month, Cardano's Total Value Locked (TVL) had hit the record high of 378.24 million ADA. There are now games playable using native ADA thanks to Paima Studios, an independent Layer 2 network on Cardano which bundles transactions onto the base blockchain for faster speeds and lesser costs. This functionality, where Cardano users can play blockchain-based games, also supports migration of games created for other networks onto Cardano. These recent advances point out that the Cardano blockchain is steadily gaining mainstream traction from its developers and users.
