SEC Approves Bitcoin-Ethereum ETFs, but Prices Continue to Fall

Bitcoin's price experienced a 4% decline, dropping below $100,000, while Ethereum saw an 8.4% decrease. However, the U.S. SEC approved Hashdex and Franklin Templeton's spot BTC/ETH combination ETFs. These ETFs will track the spot prices of Bitcoin and Ether and are expected to launch in January. U.S. spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs recorded significant net outflows on December 19. Despite the ETF approvals, Bitcoin fell to $95.5K and Ethereum declined to $3,330.87.
