CandleFocus LayerZero’s Stargate down for 6 hours due to DVN executors malfunction

The Stargate cross-chain bridge, built on LayerZero, has experienced a significant outage for over six hours due to malfunctioning Decentralized Verifier Networks (DVN) executors. This has resulted in delays in transaction processing across various blockchains. Blockchain security firm PeckShield and web3 security company ExVul have both issued alerts advising users to refrain from using Stargate for cross-chain transfers during this time. Data shows that around 29,700 transactions are currently stalled within the system. The Stargate development team has acknowledged the issue, attributing it to an error in the DVN network’s executors. LayerZero's technical team is actively working to resolve the problem.
