The Hedera Foundation has appointed Charles Adkins as its new CEO starting from January 1, 2025. This decision comes as part of a rebranding effort by the foundation to prioritize decentralized finance (DeFi) adoption. Charles Adkins, the former President of Hedera Hashgraph, LLC, has experience from his previous positions at Polygon Labs and Aptos.
