The chief technology officer of Ripple, David Schwartz, has highlighted the release of the AMMClawback Amendment on the XRPL mainnet. This feature allows tokens issued with Clawback enabled to be used in the native automated market maker (AMM) on the XRP ledger. The Clawback feature allows token issuers to reclaim their tokens if certain conditions arise. The AMMClawback Amendment has been embedded into the public version of the XRP Ledger, giving issuers more control and adding an extra layer of security. The recently launched Ripple USD stablecoin can now be used in AMM pools on the XRP Ledger, boosting liquidity and trading opportunities. The XRP community is excited about the launch, seeing it as a step towards the XRP Ledger becoming a leading platform for decentralized finance applications.
