North Dakota has introduced a bill to protect the rights of Bitcoin miners and holders, according to CEO Dennis Porter of the Satoshi Action Fund. The bill, introduced by Representative Nathan Toman, aims to uphold four main principles including the right to mine Bitcoin, self-custody, peer-to-peer transactions, and running a Bitcoin node. Porter has been active in introducing similar bills in other US states, including Montana and Mississippi, while New York and Arkansas have tried to limit or ban cryptocurrency mining in the past.
