Grayscale has applied for an XRP ETF with the SEC, seeking to make its XRP Trust an ETF on the New York Stock Exchange. This follows their recent filings for ETFs for Litecoin, Solana, and Bitcoin miners. There is speculation that other major players, including BlackRock, may also apply for an XRP ETF. BlackRock has already launched successful Bitcoin and Ethereum spot ETFs. Eight other asset managers have already applied for an XRP ETF, indicating growing institutional interest in XRP. XRP's price has fluctuated, currently trading at around $3.08 with a 31% drop in trading volume. However, it remains one of the best-performing cryptos in January, and investors are optimistic about its future.
