Burwick Law, the law firm accusing memecoin platform Pump Fun of securities violations, has created its own memecoin called "DOGSHIT2" as part of its lawsuit against Pump Fun. The lawsuit alleges that Pump Fun facilitated "pump-and-dump" schemes and extracted $500 million through the sale of unregistered securities. The creation of "DOGSHIT2" was used as a demonstration to show the ease and lack of compliance measures involved in launching tokens on Pump Fun. The token saw a significant increase in trading volume but has since fallen 98%. Memecoin influencer @EasyEatsBodega criticized Burwick Law for creating their own memecoin and implied that the law firm dumped their holdings. Burwick Law responded to the criticism, stating that these comments were baseless and potentially defamatory. This is the third lawsuit filed by Burwick Law against Pump Fun.
