Crypto custody specialist Fireblocks has introduced a cyber security offering to assist companies in complying with the Europe's Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA). The act, which came into effect in the EU in January 2025, aims to enhance the resilience of financial firms to cyber attacks, outages, and technical failures. Fireblocks' Cyber and Operational Resilience (COR) compliance package includes a dedicated legal addendum, periodic reports, and an annual security audit. This offering is especially important for smaller crypto firms and fintech companies, as DORA does not differentiate between them and larger banks and financial institutions.
