While Oasys already supported token creation, Yukichi.fun aims to make it more accessible to a wider audience. Other platforms, such as Enjin and The Sandbox, offer similar services for creating gaming tokens. Oasys is a layer-1 and Ethereum-compatible blockchain designed for gaming and digital entertainment, with low transaction fees that make it ideal for microtransactions in gaming. The native token of Oasys, OAS, has various purposes within the ecosystem.
