Crypto sleuth ZachXBT has revealed that XRP addresses activated by Ripple co-founder Chris Larsen still hold over 2.7 billion XRP, worth $7.18 billion. Some of these addresses have been dormant for 6-7 years. ZachXBT also noted that these addresses moved $109 million worth of XRP to various exchanges in January, but it is unclear if the tokens were actually sold. Concerns have been raised in the past over Larsen potentially dumping XRP, especially after he transferred 500 million XRP to an unknown wallet in September 2020. Larsen claimed it was for security purposes, but speculation about discreet selling of XRP has persisted without concrete evidence.
