Singapore-based fintech company DigiFT has received a custodial license from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). This allows DigiFT to offer custody services for tokenized assets on its RWA tokenization platform. Previously approved for operating a trading platform and offering financial services, DigiFT can now handle the issuance, trading, and storage of blockchain-based security tokens in one place. The company specializes in tokenizing real-world financial assets and has already partnered with firms such as Invesco and UBS Asset Management to offer tokenized investment products. DigiFT's CEO believes that obtaining the custodial license will enhance security and efficiency, paving the way for broader institutional adoption of tokenized assets.
