Sonic Labs, formerly known as Fantom, has announced that Chainlink's cross-chain interoperability protocol is now live on its mainnet. This integration allows developers to utilize Chainlink's oracle network infrastructure to build and deploy decentralized applications on Sonic and other blockchain networks. Sonic Labs has also adopted Chainlink's Data Streams and Data Feeds. The integration brings enhanced network security, cross-chain tokens, and arbitrary messaging to Sonic. Chainlink's oracle network has already been widely adopted by major financial institutions and DeFi projects. Sonic's mainnet, which supports 10,000 transactions per second, launched in December 2024. Earlier this month, Sonic also adopted Circle's bridged USDC standard to increase developer activity.
