Shytoshi Kusama, the lead of the Shiba Inu ecosystem, has responded to complaints about the lack of engagement from the Ethereum Foundation with developers. A blockchain developer and contributor to Abstract Chain expressed frustration with the Ethereum Foundation for not communicating with them, despite their significant contributions to the Ethereum ecosystem. The developer emphasized the importance of communication to help both teams collaborate effectively. Kusama highlighted Shiba Inu's achievements, including processing over 800 million transactions on its Ethereum-based Layer-2 blockchain, and emphasized that Shiba Inu is more than just a meme coin. The Head of Research and Development at Ethereum Foundation acknowledged the need for better collaboration between Layer-1 and Layer-2 solutions and stated that it will be a key focus going forward.
