BlackRock's spot Bitcoin ETF, iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), has added 6,470 BTC to its holdings following a slight dip in the cryptocurrency's price from its recent all-time high. With this addition, IBIT now holds a total of 563,134 BTC, valued at $59.4 billion. BlackRock's confidence in Bitcoin investment seems to be growing, as it has led the majority of spot Bitcoin ETF inflows for three consecutive days. The price of Bitcoin currently sits at $105,477, up by 3.7% in the past 24 hours and over 8% in the past week. It remains to be seen if the rally will continue after President Donald Trump's inauguration, as the crypto industry looks forward to potential developments like a national Bitcoin reserve. MicroStrategy remains the largest corporate Bitcoin holder, followed by MARA Holdings and Riot Platforms. Notably, BlackRock had purchased $1 billion worth of Bitcoin in December 2024, just before a sharp price decline.
