Ripple has partnered with the International Rescue Committee (IRC) to support humanitarian efforts. The partnership aims to help individuals affected by crisis by utilizing Ripple's cross-border payment solution and upcoming stablecoin, RLUSD. Ripple will fund the initiative with a $1 million multi-year commitment, focusing on cash relief programs and cross-border fund transfers. The collaboration marks an important milestone for Ripple in leveraging blockchain technology for positive global impact. This is not Ripple's first collaboration with a humanitarian organization, as they previously contributed $10 million to Mercy Corps in 2020. The partnership with IRC will explore innovative solutions to enhance cash-relief efficiency in regions with limited access to traditional banking infrastructure.
