Paradigm, a blockchain brokerage firm, has introduced a new feature called applicative recursion as part of Starknet's 13.2 upgrade. This feature, also known as blockpacking, bundles multiple Layer 2 blocks into a single recursive proof, resulting in lower L1 gas fees and faster transaction confirmation. The minimum trading amount on Paradigm has also been reduced to $100, increasing accessibility for traders. The update also includes new trading pairs, portfolio margins for options, and multi-collateral assets by spot. Paradigm believes that the potential of zk-rollups should be more appreciated in the blockchain community. Overall, the deployment of applicative recursion represents a significant development in blockchain technology, offering faster and cheaper transactions and increased trading opportunities.
