Helium Mobile has announced the launch of the nation's first free phone plan on a 5G network. The "Zero Plan" provides users with 3GB of data, 300 texts, and 100 minutes of calls each month, without any cost. The service is based on the Helium 5G network, which is operated by individuals who are rewarded with crypto tokens for sharing the service with other users. Users can also earn tokens for supporting the network and redeem Cloud Points for gift cards. While the service is free, users will need to bring their own device or purchase one outright.
