Peter Brandt, a veteran trader, continues to express skepticism towards Ethereum, stating that it is weak and losing ground against Bitcoin. However, he did not dismiss the possibility of a short-term move entirely. The broader crypto market has seen a significant drop, with $8 billion wiped out in liquidations and the total market cap down by about $540 billion. Brandt sees two possibilities for Bitcoin: a rally to $136,000 or a drop into the mid-$70,000s. While Brandt remains bearish on Ethereum, he did entertain the idea of a relief rally, which caught people's attention. Despite this, he still sees Bitcoin as the dominant force and does not believe in Ethereum as a strong long-term play.
