Travala, a travel website that accepts cryptocurrency payments, has partnered with trivago to offer its inventory of 2.2 million properties on the hotel search platform. When trivago users choose a Travala hotel, they will be redirected to the website and have the option to pay with various cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin and ether. This partnership adds to Travala's existing collaborations with Skyscanner and Kayak. Users of the Singapore-based platform can also earn rewards in bitcoin or its native token AVA. Travala, backed by Binance, is currently in talks with potential buyers after receiving a takeover approach.
