The NFT craze is reaching new heights, as the recent minting spree of Spacebrat's artwork "Gleam" created by artist Monsegue has shattered records. A whopping 300,000 copies of the NFT item have been minted out in just 23 hours!

The unique digital tokens which signify ownership of digital art have been produced by the multi-chain protocol of CXIP Labs. This means that the NFTs are bridged across different chains including Ethereum, Avalanche, BNB Chain, and Polygon.

The original artwork of "Gleam" was created by Monsegue and has been featured in publications like Vogue and Hypebeast. She has also done commissioned work for Virgil Abloh's Off White, among other celebrity clients.

The free open-edition mint of the NFT took place on Holograph's website, allowing users to select the chain of choice to mint their collectible. Any associated costs such as transaction fees were still paid by the user.

The number of minted versions of the NFT varied across different chains; while there were 203,000 mints on Polygon, Avalanche and BNB Chain trailed behind with 53,000 and 46,000 each respectively. Ethereum had the lowest number of mints at a mere 82.

Moreover, the client base associated with the minting of "Gleam" was quite extensive. Although there were over 300,000 mints total, the total number of unique wallets involved was around 164,000. One wallet alone was able to mint the NFT 1,241 times, and at least fifty wallets had minted the NFT over a hundred times.

This success of the NFT simply goes to show the heights it can reach beyond the distributed ledger. With Holograph's protocol making the NFT minting process a breeze, the boundaries of digital currency are sure to expand in a big way in the near future.
