The Shiba Inu community has been eagerly awaiting the launch of the long-anticipated Shibarium mainnet. Lead developer, Shytoshi Kusama, also known as Shytoshi, has refrained from answering the question as to when the launch of the Layer 2 network will finally occur. This has caused much speculation and fervor within the SHIB Army. In the official "Shibarium Tech" Telegram channel, the most popular answer people have been getting when they ask when Shibarium will launch is the word "soon," often followed by ROFL emojis.

In an exclusive interview with International Business Times, Shytoshi initially estimated the launch of Shibarium to occur in a two to four-month time period. While this is not a firm guarantee, as mentioned by one user on the Telegram channel, it certainly provides a bit of insight. Shytoshi backpedaled on the rumors of rejecting projects, claiming that his team simply requested more details on those initiatives so they could be considered to be built on Shibarium.

Shytoshi also recently issued a warning that Puppynet is only a beta testing platform, and no real tokens have burned yet. He added that no one should be transferring their real cryptocurrency to the network, as it is for trial purposes only. With that being said, he also stated that his team and the whole SHIB army is eagerly anticipating the upcoming updates on Shibarium's launch.

It appears that the SHIB army will have to wait a bit longer before Shibarium can launch. However, the expectations of the new platform remain increasingly high since its development has been going on for over a year. Whatever the outcome may be, the SHIB community is sure to be in for another exciting time.
