In the first quarter of 2023, the Web3 gaming space recorded a decrease in unique active wallets, with the average daily UAW count going down 8.58%. Despite this, investments in the space rose 12.95%, reaching a total of $739 million. All gaming chains bar Polygon (MATIC) and Klaytn (KLAY) reflected the decrease in UAWs, with BNB Chain (BNB) losing the most, at 36%, and WAX (WAXP) with a 1.76% decrease maintaining its position as the most prominent gaming chain. The number of investments still remains relatively low compared to the $1.22 Billion from the third quarter of 2022.
