Magic Eden, the non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace, has announced the launch of its Creator Launchpad for Ordinals. This platform bridges the gap between creators and the technology of inscribing NFTs on the Bitcoin network. The launchpad helps creators to learn the intricacies of Taproot and inscriptions, and ultimately facilitates the creation of tokens on the Bitcoin network.

Magic Eden co-founder and COO, Zhuoxun Yin, sees Bitcoin as the perfect platform for storing pure digital artifacts. The blockchain is the grandfather of all blockchains, and is helping the Ordinals community to grow as a result of the Creator Launchpad.

To celebrate the launch of this new platform, Magic Eden is joining forces with Ethereum-based NFT collection Godjira to publish their DeadJira collection on April 7. Alongside this, the company has spoken to a number of creators, such as Genopets and Humanoids, with the intention of inscribing Bitcoin-based NFTs on the platform within the next week.

Furthermore, Magic Eden released a Bitcoin NFT marketplace last month. It allows collectors to purchase Ordinals on the secondary market, and integrates support for 2 Bitcoin wallets. As well as this, the company has established a Web3 gaming collective, to help foster adoption by bringing funds and publishers together. To add to the excitement of users, the company launched ‘Mint Madness’, permitting free NFTs in excess of a dozen games.

The excitement around Ordinals is growing, and Magic Eden is certainly a part of this adventure. With this, it’s evident that blockchain technology, and specifically the Bitcoin network, is a powerful platform for creators to express themselves in, and capture their artwork and ideas forever.
