Kraken, a popular crypto exchange, recently announced its partnership with Williams Racing, the prestigious Formula 1 racing team. The partnership marks the first-ever official crypto and web3 partner and as part of the deal, Kraken has chosen to place the opening excerpt of the bitcoin whitepaper on the team's cars for the upcoming Australian Grand Prix.

The excerpt of the nine-page document, which speaks about a peer-to-peer version of electronic cash, will be featured on the nose cone of the car. The partnership between Kraken and F1 is aimed to create further buzz around the world of crypto and to showcase the original document which brought the movement of cryptocurrencies to life through one of the world’s most popular sports.

Mayur Gupta, the Chief Marketing Officer of Kraken said “It’s an opportunity to showcase the original document that brought this entire movement to life through a sport that’s watched and loved by hundreds of millions of fans worldwide.”

Also, as part of the collaboration, Kraken plans to give selected holders of its NFTs a unique opportunity to see their digital collectibles displayed on the rear wing of the Williams Racing car. NFTs are a form of blockchain-based collectibles that represent a real-world asset, in this case a Formula 1 car, and can be bought, sold and traded.

Since its emergence mere decades ago, cryptocurrencies have been making waves in almost every sector and the deal between Kraken and Williams Racing is the latest example of its ever-growing popularity. The partnership and the presence of the Bitcoin whitepaper on the F1 car eye-catching, which makes for an ideal platform for the crypto world.
