Justin Sun, the founder of cryptocurrency Tron and BitTorrent, has gained controversy due to his recent activities and tweets that are seen as inappropriate by many. Recently, his crypto exchange Poloniex conducted a giveaway for SEC-focused tokens, including Sun's own Tron, Binance Exchange's BNB, BitTorrent's BTT, FTX exchange token FTT, and the bridging cryptocurrency REN. The tweet about the giveaway was soon deleted after concerned raised, but the giveaway still remains active.

Sun's other activities that sparked negative reaction include losing his ambassadorship to the World Trade Organization and being sued by the US Securities and Exchange Commission. Regarding the latter, he claims it as “a misunderstanding”. Additionally, he has pushed for cryptocurrency adoption in Dominica and Saint Martin, countries with combined population of 150,000.

However, his recent conduct in social media has caused greater distress. In a tweet, Sun openly asked a woman he met at conference to participate in a different contest and soon after, offered her a job to host the ‘Huobi Hong Kong Night.’ This has been perceived as an unethical behavior by many members of the community.

In conclusion, Justin Sun has undeniably conducted a series of decisions that many consider objectionable. He has conducted a giveaway for SEC-focused tokens, lost his WTO ambassadorship, and has been sued by the SEC. He has also tried to rope a woman he met at a conference into working for him and has offered her a job shortly thereafter. Whether these decisions are justified or not, they have certainly resulted in a storm of backlash and criticism directed at the cryptocurrency founder.
