Custody Firm Taurus Partners With Temenos Bringing Crypto Wallets to Thousands of Banks

Swiss cryptocurrency custody specialist Taurus is collaborating with Temenos, a firm that provides core banking software to financial institutions. This collaboration will allow banks to easily create crypto wallets and transfer digital assets. Taurus, which already has clients like Deutsche Bank and State Street, claims to be the first digital asset custody platform to fully integrate with Temenos. Banks using Temenos can now have exposure to various types of digital assets, including cryptocurrencies, tokenized securities, stablecoins, and even memecoins. This partnership is timely, considering the forthcoming pro-crypto administration in the U.S. and the launch of Europe's crypto asset regulation. Taurus and Temenos are preparing for regulatory clarity and plan to start implementing their collaboration in the first quarter of next year.
