CandleFocus Bitcoin Lightning Fintech ZBD Approved to Receive EU MiCA License by Dutch Regulator

ZBD, a payment platform powered by Bitcoin Lightning network, has received approval from the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM) for a European Union MiCA license. Once the license is granted on December 30th, ZBD will be able to provide crypto custody and exchange services throughout the EU. The company applied for the license in April and the list of approved applicants will be published on the AFM's website. Some EU countries, like the Netherlands, are preparing for the implementation of MiCA, while others have yet to pass the necessary legislation.
