The XRP Ledger (XRPL) has reduced its account and object reserve fees by 90%, allowing for greater network participation. Previously set at 10 XRP, the account reserve fee has been lowered to 1 XRP, while the reserve fee for trustlines, objects, or NFTs has dropped to 0.2 XRP. This move aims to make the XRPL more accessible, particularly for users in regions with limited purchasing power. The reduction in fees coincides with a significant increase in XRP's price, which has risen by 443.15% in the past month.
