Blockchain platform Minima has partnered with semiconductor giant ARM to develop a microchip with a decentralized ledger embedded in it. The "Minima Chip" aims to provide a secure node for devices to verify data, generate tokens, and enable peer-to-peer messaging. The collaboration falls under ARM's Flexible Access Program, granting Minima and other start-ups access to the company's IP portfolio and chip design system. Minima has previously focused on the automotive industry, working with companies such as Volvo to enhance electric vehicle charging and data attestation. The partnership aims to embed blockchain technology into various internet of things devices.
