Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong has announced that the company will sever ties with any law firms that hire individuals who have committed "bad deeds" against the crypto industry. Armstrong specifically mentioned Milbank's hiring of Gurbir S. Grewal, the head of the SEC's Division and Enforcement Director, stating that Coinbase will no longer work with them. Armstrong believes that the industry should not support individuals who have tried to harm the crypto industry, and urged others to inform their law firms that hiring such individuals would result in losing them as clients. Additionally, Armstrong criticized those in senior positions at the SEC who could have chosen to leave but instead followed orders to the detriment of the industry.
