The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is expanding its blockchain education academy in collaboration with the Algorand Foundation to train 24,000 personnel worldwide. The goal is to equip UN staff with blockchain skills to understand how the technology can contribute to a more sustainable and equitable future. The Blockchain Academy provides specialized training on blockchain technology and has already certified over 30 UN personnel during its beta phase. The expanded program will include a broader curriculum available to all staff at the UNDP, UN Volunteers, and the United Nations Capital Development Fund.
