A judge in California has rejected crypto exchange Kraken's request for an interlocutory appeal in the ongoing case brought against it by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Kraken had filed the motion in September, arguing that allowing an appeal would speed up the resolution of the case. However, the judge denied the request, stating that certification at this stage would only delay resolution. The SEC sued Kraken last November for allegedly operating as an unregistered securities exchange, and Kraken denied the allegations.
