The United States dominated the market with 81.27% market share and continued to see growth in the number of ATMs. Europe also experienced consistent growth, adding 116 new ATMs in 2024. Despite the cryptocurrency bull market in the second half of the year, most ATM installations occurred in the first and second quarters. The total number of Bitcoin ATMs worldwide on January 1, 2025, was 38,768, lower than the all-time high in December 2022 but still significant.
