Four digital assets companies, including MoonPay and BitStaete, have obtained licenses from the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets, allowing them to operate across the entire European Union. These licenses are part of the Markets in Crypto Assets (MiCA) framework, which requires companies to obtain a Crypto Asset Service Provider (CASP) license from a member state. The European Union set a deadline for member states to implement MiCA, and while not all countries have met the deadline, these companies have successfully secured their licenses. Additionally, Socios.com has received authorization from the Malta Financial Services Authority for a Virtual Financial Assets Act (VFAA) license, and GSR Markets has been added to the U.K.'s crypto register.
