Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson has revealed that his team is in discussions with Ripple to integrate the Ripple USD (RLUSD) stablecoin. The Cardano Foundation had previously missed an opportunity to integrate the popular stablecoin USDC in 2021. RLUSD has already gained traction and appeared on exchanges like Bitstamp and Bullish. While it is unclear if there is a path for integration into the Cardano blockchain, Hoskinson expressed interest in doing so if feasible, emphasizing the need for a robust stablecoin ecosystem in Cardano.
