Blockchain platform Ronin has teamed up with Virtuals Protocol to introduce an artificial intelligence (AI) agent to its platform. Virtuals Protocol simplifies the creation and deployment of AI agents, which can fulfill various roles, such as social media figures or in-game non-playable characters. Their flagship product, Jaihoz, is an AI agent modeled after Jeffrey Zirlin, co-founder of Sky Mavis, the company behind Axie Infinity. Jaihoz will interact with users on Ronin's platform, although the impact of these interactions is uncertain. The collaboration centers around the $JAIHOZ token, which is distributed across the Ronin and Base blockchains. Over 100,000 wallets, including those linked to Ronin and Virtuals communities, received an airdrop to incentivize interest. The partnership is part of Ronin's strategy to expand its blockchain's use cases by 2025, with Virtuals Protocol's AI agents playing a crucial role. However, the effectiveness of this distribution and the success of the broader strategy remain to be seen.
