The top developer of the Shiba Inu ecosystem, Kaal Dhariya, has responded to concerns about the possibility of minting additional Bone ShibaSwap (BONE) tokens despite the team renouncing their contract. A YouTube user named Random Artz raised these concerns and accused a Solidity developer of spreading misinformation. Dhariya and other community members countered these claims by explaining that the BONE contract is owned by the TopDog farming contract, and the team successfully renounced it in 2023, preventing any further minting of tokens. This move was made to address concerns from exchanges like Binance that were hesitant to list BONE due to potential control by the Shiba Inu team. Currently, BONE has a circulating supply of 229.92 million tokens out of a maximum supply of 250 million and is trading at $0.4482 per token. Its price has dropped significantly from its all-time high in September 2021.
