HashKey MENA FZE, the Middle East and North Africa subsidiary of digital asset service firm HashKey Group, has received conditional approval for its license application from the Dubai Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA). If HashKey obtains the license, it will be able to offer virtual asset exchange and virtual asset broker-dealer services to retail, qualified, and institutional investors in Dubai and beyond. This approval is expected to benefit HashKey OTC, the group's over-the-counter trading arm, as it expands its regulated activities in the Middle East. HashKey Group has been expanding its operations globally and recently received VASP registration approval from the Central Bank of Ireland, allowing it to offer regulated services in the EU. The group is also looking to secure a Markets in Crypto-Assets license to further establish its presence in European markets. Additionally, HashKey recently launched the Hashkey Platform Token.
