The frog-themed meme coin PEPE has caught the attention of crypto whales, with two whales making significant moves to accumulate PEPE tokens. One whale withdrew 280 billion PEPE tokens worth $5 million from Binance, while another whale spent 3.72 million USDC to buy 200.4 billion PEPE tokens. Despite a previous loss on PEPE, the second whale appears unfazed and is doubling down on the token. PEPE is set to expand its presence in the Japanese crypto market with a new listing on Binance Japan. The recent moves suggest that whales may be anticipating a rebound for meme tokens like PEPE. Currently, PEPE is down 8.64% in the last 24 hours due to the overall market sell-off, with Bitcoin falling to a two-month low. PEPE reached its all-time high in December but has since dropped 42.6% from that peak.
