The Avalanche Foundation has launched 'Avalanche9000' which includes $40 million in retroactive grants for developers and a rebranding of the Avalanche subnets to Avalanche L1. Avalanche L1s are project-specific chains that operate independently of the main C-Chain network. The ACP-77 upgrade introduces a new validator governance structure, while the ACP-125 upgrade aims to reduce the minimum base fee on the Avalanche C-Chain by 96%. These upgrades are expected to drive growth and adoption of the network.
