Anthony Scaramucci, Founder of SkyBridge Capital, has criticized the current state of cryptocurrency regulation in the US and called for a more bipartisan approach. He praised the efforts of Senators Gillibrand and Schumer but expressed disapproval of Elizabeth Warren and Gary Gensler's influence on US crypto policy. Scaramucci suggested that their approach may be motivated by factors beyond regulatory concerns. He highlighted the contrast between the US and the EU's approach to crypto regulation, with the EU implementing the Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) framework. Scaramucci also discussed the upcoming US presidential election, stating it is too close to call between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Trump. He noted that Harris has been deploying an unprecedented ground game in her campaign but still faces challenges in voter familiarity compared to her opponent. Scaramucci believes Harris could support fair cryptocurrency legislation, while Trump's pro-crypto stance may lead to the appointment of crypto-friendly officials.
