Global investment management firm VanEck has launched a new $30 million venture capital fund called VanEck Ventures. The fund will focus on fintech, digital asset, and artificial intelligence companies in pre-seed or seed stages, with investments ranging from $500,000 to $1 million. VanEck Ventures is particularly interested in projects related to tokenization and those building at the application layer. The fund aims to support disruptive companies in the fintech industry and expand VanEck's presence in the digital asset space. VanEck's CEO also expressed a desire for 15% of the firm's assets under management to be in crypto.
