France's Financial Markets Authority (AMF) has added 25 new unauthorized cryptocurrency service providers to its blacklist, bringing the total to over 100. The regulator aims to protect investors from potential fraud in the digital asset space. The AMF warns investors to consult its website for the most up-to-date information on authorized and unauthorized service providers. The European Union will implement new regulations for crypto-asset service providers from December 2024, requiring official authorization. The AMF has already started accepting applications for this authorization in France. Existing service providers have until June 2026 to obtain the new authorization.
