A crypto sleuth known as ZachXBT has exposed a series of Twitter accounts that are allegedly being used to promote meme coins. The main account, Ardizor, is linked to 16 other accounts, some of which have blue verification checkmarks and large followings. These accounts have been used to promote meme coins like ANALOS, BALLZ, and CATDOG, as well as being possibly involved in promoting Polkadot (DOT). The value of these tokens has since plummeted. It is also believed that these accounts were participants in the controversial Polkadot marketing campaign, with one account claiming that Ardizor was paid as a key opinion leader. The article also mentions the challenges and volatility of the meme coin ecosystem, including celebrity-backed meme coins that tend to lose value quickly.
